Hottest Bridal Trends – Bridal Separates

Are you looking for a wedding dress that’s a little bit different? Why not switch it up and opt for a two-piece instead of a traditional bridal gown?

The bridal seperates trend has been taking the wedding market by storm. This trend has been labelled the ‘Olivia Palermo effect’ after the global fashionista and style icon decided to forgoe a traditional wedding gown in favour of a skirt and jumper combo for her big day.

The best thing about wedding dress separates is that you can mix and match to create a perfect look. We are huge fans of this trend and are delighted to announce that the bridal seperates below have found a home in Alice May Bridal!

On November 27th and November 28h, Alice May Bridal will be showcasing a wide range of seperates from top bridal designers Willowby by Watters (Love Marley) and Catherine Deane. Places are limited – Call 087 763 2336 to book an appointment or book online here.

“If you’re a cool girl and your am to pm wardrobe is simple and paired down, what do you then get married in?”
This statement will appeal to many Alice May Brides so drum roll please for Maria Senvo!! These gowns are aimed at a new age bride and here at Alice May Bridal Kilternan, Co Dublin they are arriving to our store very soon. It is a covetable collection that has managed to mix the elusive paired down aesthetic with just the right amount of glamour.

Here at Alice May we had heard of the dynamic duo Holly Cuthbert and Ryan Wilkinson who are the pair responsible for the beautiful couture gowns known as Maria Senvo. Their debut collection became instantly recognisable for its elegantly designed pieces, encompassing unstructured skirts paired with delicate hand beading and soft laces. As a young and vibrant team their vision was for tradition to be left at the door, they want a bride to step out of the box and embrace their own unique and personal style.

We decided a trip to view their new season collection was a must. They had decided on a pop up show in Knightsbridge as the setting to launch their new collection ‘Botanica’. This latest offering for 2016 is inspired by the shapes and shadows from a Botanical garden.

As soon as we saw how luxurious the fabrics were and the soft silhouettes these dresses created we fell in love! We were only short of stuffing the dresses into our cabin sized bags and heading straight for the airport. Irish brides should not be missing out on this collection so we knew we needed them as soon as possible in our Kilternan boutique.

The collection is full to the brim of effortlessly beautiful wedding dresses, made from the most luxurious textures and fabrics that compliment every style and personality. Available at Alice May Bridal from the 16th September!!!!
